Do you want a piece of your history? For those who might remember, Rick Broome painted our Class picture.

Over the past Four Decades, Rick has continued to capture the spirit of almost every class on canvas. He boasts the largest collection of Air Force Academy art commissioned by graduating classes by one artist. This is by far one of the longest held traditions at the Academy and his legacy continues with each class.

Room Sharing Option: Remember way, way back when you wondered who you’d get as a roommate? Well, now you get a choice. If you plan on attending the reunion by yourself and might be looking to share a room at the reunion, now’s your chance. At our last reunion, we had other classmates in this same situation. If you wish to try to connect with others that want to share a room, please let Deb & me know. We will collect the names and contact information and do our best to connect those who wish to find a roommate.

Only a few things have changed since our last reunion. Some of you may already know that the Academy has reduced the number of scheduled weekends for reunions. Due to budget cuts, the number of slots for the Noon meal has been reduced from 66 to 20. So, if you want to grab one of those 20 slots, register today.

You also have a few merchandise options to gather some great memorabilia that will help us remember our 35th reunion. Aside from the Reunion Registration gift, you have an opportunity to obtain apparel from Cole Promo, Class Prints by Rick Broome and a first ever Fabergé-style egg locket with our Class Crest.

Cole Promo’s Apparel and Merchandise: Order by Friday, 01 September 2017 and have your items shipped to your home in time to travel to the reunion.

Official 1982 Class Prints by Rick Broome: If you never had an opportunity to obtain a piece of your history, now is your chance.

Fabergé-style egg lockets by ARTEL:  As we make final preparations for our 35th reunion, ARTEL is pleased to offer each member of the class an opportunity to consider choosing a Fabergé-style egg locket as a reunion memento. These lockets are designed especially to honor 35 years of service to our nation. Each locket is made, by hand, in the United States of America from a .925 Sterling Silver core with 24kt gold vermeil, hand-applied Italian enamels and Swarovski® crystals. The Falcon surprise will hide inside the piece until the locket is opened, but it can also be worn dangling beneath the closed locket on a small chain which passes through the small aperture at the bottom of the locket.

The price for each locket is $85 which includes a USAFA ‘82 locket with an 18” gold-filled chain in a velveteen pouch or small gift box for all orders received through the ’82 Reunion registration site by 15 Sep, 2017. For further information about ARTEL please click on the link above.

We know this is a lot of information but hopefully this will help you with your reunion planning.  You can access the current reunion agenda on either the AOG Class web page or our Class web site.  We look forward to connecting with new friends and re-connecting with old friends.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Our class will be the first USAFA class to have a reunion locket. Each locket is made by hand in the United States of America from a .935 Sterling Silver core, hand-applied Italian enamels and Swarovski® crystals. The Falcon surprise will hide inside the piece until the locket is opened, but it can also be worn dangling beneath the closed locket on a small chain which passes through the aperture at the bottom of the locket. The price for each locket is $85 which includes a USAFA ‘82 locket with an 18” silver-filled chain in a velveteen pouch or small gift box for all orders received through the ’82 Reunion registration site by August 31st, 2017.
